Brian Hodges, age 41, of Leitchfield, KY, passed away Thursday, (July 16, 2015) in Leitchfield, KY.
He was born on November 1, 1973 in Hardin County, KY, the son of Cecil Hodges and Darlene Sadler Rakestraw.
He was a boiler maker with Local 40 in Elizabethtown, who enjoyed woodworking, and NASCAR.
He is survived by his father and step-mother, Cecil and Kelly Hodges of Leitchfield, mother and step-father, Jim and Darlene Rakestraw of Hawesville; step-daughter, Kristen Richards of Hawesville; step-brother, Bruce Dodd (Magan) of Iowa; several aunts, uncles, and cousins; best friend, James Edward Gray of Owensboro; and friends, Taletha Tucker of Owensboro, Sandy Basham and Kenny Glascock both of Leitchfield.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents.
Cremation was chosen.
Memorial Services will be held at the home of his father, Cecil Hodges, at 924 Ray Priddy Road in Leitchfield on Tuesday (July 21, 2015) at 4:00 p.m.
