Joseph Lee Kessinger, age 72 , of Caneyville, KY, passed away Saturday, (February 12, 2022) at his home.

He was born on November 03, 1949 in Louisville, KY, the son of the late Frank and Ruth Spalding Kessinger.

He retired from General Electric where he worked as a model maker. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, spending time with his family, watching soap operas and was an avid UK Basketball fan.

He is survived by his wife Janet; daughters, Joli Ann Kessinger, Robyn Fugate (Mike), Wendy Thompson (Michael), Samantha Hardin (Paul); seven grandchildren, Zachory, Megan, Xander, Amy, Michaela, Samuel and Makenna; and three great-grandchildren, Greyson, Rya Jo & Aaliyah.

Other than his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Ronald & Patrick Kessinger and a half-sister, Sandy Brusa.

In keeping with his wishes, cremation was chosen.
