Obituary
Joseph Louis Medina, "Joe", age 78, of Waxhaw, North Carolina, passed away Sunday, (January 10, 2016) at the Monroe Rehab Center in Monroe, North Carolina.
He was born on March 18, 1937 in French Camp, California, the son of the late Joseph Daniel and Maurine Koontz Medina.
He was a truck driver, who enjoyed wood-working, playing guitar, and singing. He was of the Catholic faith.
He is survived by his son, Joseph Medina and his wife, Barbara, of Waxhaw, North Carolina; his daughter, Roberta Rhodes and her husband, Belton of Bowling Green, KY; brother, Dan Medina of South Carolina; several grandchildren, and several great-grandchildren.
Other than his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Connie Medina.
Graveside services will be at 1:30 p.m. Saturday, (January 16, 2016) at the Clarkson Baptist Cemetery. Rev. Tony Stevenson will be officiating.
