Josephine Ramsey, 93, of Leitchfield, KY, passed away Saturday, (August 25, 2012) at Twin Lakes Regional Medical Center in Leitchfield, Kentucky.

She was born on January 20, 1919, in Breckinridge County, Kentucky, the daughter of the late Elva and Bessie Winchell Dunn.

She was a retired office worker with WRECC, was a member of the Red Hat Club, the Leitchfield Homemakers Club and the Leitchfield United Methodist Church.

She is survived by three nieces, Barbara (Ken) Zipperian of Franklin, TN, Sara (Bill) Voss and Paula (Randy) Johnson both of Cincinnati, OH, great nieces and nephews, Phillip and Jason Zipperian, Morgan and Taylor Voss and Lindsey and Stacey Watzek, her caregivers, Libby Decker, Vonnell Howell, Belva Kerr, Shirley Conder and Effie Fulkerson and special friends, Donald Goodridge and Leondus Beach.

Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Arnold and a brother, Herbert Dunn.

Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, (August 29, 2012) at the Leitchfield First United Methodist Church. Bro. Fred Whitmore and Bro. David Harting will be officiating. Burial will be in the Leitchfield Memory Gardens.

Friends may call at the Dermitt Funeral Home from 3:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday and from 9:00 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. Wednesday.

Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to the memorial fund at Leitchfield United Methodist Church.
