Joyce Ruth Mosley Langley, age 77, of Leitchfield, KY, passed away on December 27, 2023, surrounded with love and laughter in her final hours. Our hearts are broken, but we rejoice as we know she is at rest and singing with the angels.

She was born on August 16, 1946 in Hazard, KY, the daughter of the late Earl Everett and Laura Catherine Zoellers Mosley.

Joyce was a retired Gifted and Talented Educator in the Grayson County school system and was adored by her many students, maintaining many of those relationships well into their adulthood. She spent her life educating children and working tirelessly in the family business. She always had a smile on her face and would make time for you. Her most treasured role was being a devoted wife, mother and grandmother.

She is survived by her husband of 56 years, David Langley of Leitchfield; three daughters, Laura Lauterbach (Craig) of Tennessee, Leigh Anne Armstrong & Leslie Wood (Walter) both of Bowling Green, KY; eight grandchildren, Catherine and Caroline Lauterbach, Sarah Armstrong Raven (Makay), Lydia Armstrong, Logan & Langley Hunt, and Avary & Griffin Wood; and a sister, Jane Hardin (Dwight). Several nieces and nephews also survive.

Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, (January 03, 2024) at the St. Joseph Catholic Church in Leitchfield. Father Sinoj and Deacon TJ Dennison will be officiating. Burial will be in the St. Elizabeth Cemetery.

Visitation will be at the Dermitt Funeral Home from 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday and at the St. Joseph Catholic Church on Wednesday from 9:30 a.m. until time of services. A Prayer Service will be held at 7:30 p.m on Tuesday night.
