Juanita Bratcher, age 83, of Caneyville, KY, passed away Sunday (March 7, 2010) at her residence.

She was a housewife and homemaker and a member of the Chapel Union Baptist Church.

She was born on September 1, 1926, in Butler Co., KY, the daughter of Tollie and Buna (Embry) Wilson.

She is survived by her husband, Gova Bratcher, her daughter, Joan Hayes of Caneyville, her son, Bobby Joe Bratcher of Leitchfield, one brother, Alton Wilson of Leitchfield, two sisters, Lois Hudson of Millwood, KY and Helen Chism of Radcliff, KY, her grandchildren, Julie Embry, Robbie Hayes, Tez Hawkins, and Jacob Bratcher, her great-grandchildren, Emily and Jenna Embry, Rylie and Hootie Hayes and Jett Hawkins. She was preceded in death by a son, Jimmie Bratcher.

Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. Friday (March 12, 2010) at the Dermitt Funeral Home in Caneyville. Bro. Gary Embry will be officiating. Burial will be in the Chapel Union Cemetery.

Visitation will be at the Dermitt Funeral Home in Caneyville from 3:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Thursday and from 9:00 a.m. Friday until time of services.
