Obituary
Juanita Ford, age 82, of Leitchfield, KY, passed away Thursday, (January 26, 2012) at her home.
She was born on April 3, 1929, in Hardin Co., Kentucky, the daughter of the late Henry and Birdie Williams Downs. She was a retired seamstress and was a member of the Anneta United Baptist Church.
She is survived by two sons, Charles E and Gayle Ray Ford both of Leitchfield, one sister, Virginia Blanton and one brother, Robert Downs both of Leitchfield, four grandchildren, Wayne and Brian Ford, Tracey Logsdon and Melissa Hensley and five great-grandchildren.
Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Shelby Ford, a brother and sister, Carl Downs and Susie Cline.
Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. Sunday (January 29, 2012) at the Dermitt Funeral Home in Leitchfield. Bro. Thomas Meredith will be officiating. Burial will be in the Anneta Cemetery.
Friends may call at the Dermitt Funeral Home in Leitchfield from 2:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Saturday and from 9:00 a.m. until time of service Sunday.
