Juanita Langdon, age 96, of Leitchfield, KY, passed away Sunday, (October 27, 2024) at her residence.

She was born on September 17, 1928 in Edmonson Co., KY, the daughter of the late Ambrose Meredith and Birdie Childress Logsdon.

She was a housewife and homemaker who enjoyed working in flowers, fishing and cooking and was a member of the Short Creek United Missionary Baptist Church.

She is survived by her son, Charles Glen Langdon (Janis) of Brownsville, KY, her daughter, Brenda Whitfield of Leitchfield, her daughter-in-law, Judy Langdon of Leitchfield, six grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren and five great-great grandchildren.

Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Langdon, one son, Phillip Langdon, a granddaughter, Pamela Jo Green and her step father, Tony Logsdon.

Funeral services will be at 1:00 p.m. Thursday, (October 31, 2024) at the Dermitt Funeral Home in Leitchfield. Bros. Joel Thompson and Cecil Williams will be officiating. Burial will be in the Claggett Cemetery.

Visitation will be at the Dermitt Funeral Home from 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday and from 9:00 a.m. Thursday until time of services.
