Obituary
Juanita Rankin, age 93, of Leitchfield, KY, passed away Wednesday, (August 12, 2015) at the Twin Lakes Regional Medical Center in Leitchfield.
She was born on June 20, 1922 in Millwood, KY, the daughter of the late Robert and Clare Maude Meredith Kennison.
She was a housewife, who enjoyed working with flowers and crocheting and was a member of the Hopewell Missionary Baptist Church.
She is survived by her sister, Pauline Stone of Leitchfield and several nieces and nephews.
Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Vol Rankin, three brothers, Nish "Buster", Felix "Pete", and Eugene Kennison and two sisters, Lucy McCombs and Nannie Wright.
Funeral services will be at 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, (August 18, 2015) at the Dermitt Funeral Home in Leitchfield. Bro. Billy Mason will be officiating. Burial will be in the Hopewell Cemetery.
Visitation will be at the Dermitt Funeral Home from 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Monday and from 9:00 a.m. Tuesday until time of services.
