Obituary
Judie Ann Mudd, age 64, of Caneyville, KY, passed away Saturday, (December 3, 2011) at her home.
She was born on May 25, 1947, in Caneyville, KY, the daughter of Berthel and Alice Dorothy Mudd McCrady. She was an Attendance Clerk and Nurses Aide at Caneyville Elementary School and a member of the Pleasant Valley United Baptist Church.
She is survived by her husband, Sherman Mudd, two daughters, Leesa Kerr (Farrel) of Caneyville and Heather Platter (Joseph) of Elizabeth City, North Carolina, her granddaughter, Morgan Kerr, of Caneyville, her step grandson, Michael Platter, Elizabeth City, North Carolina, one brother, Donald Edwin McCrady of Caneyville, three sisters, Juanita Paris of Big Clifty, KY, Lisa Jo Lee of Caneyville and Alice Streible of Bowling Green, KY and several nieces and nephews who loved her very much.
Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Linda Towne.
Funeral services will be Wednesday at 1:00 p.m. (December 7, 2011) at the Pleasant Valley United Baptist Church. Bro. Cecil Williams will be officiating. Burial will be in the McCrady Cemetery.
Friends may call at the Dermitt Funeral Home in Caneyville from 2:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Monday, from 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. Tuesday and from 9:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Wednesday.
