Judy Sue Embry, age 68 , of Caneyville, KY, passed away Saturday, (April 29, 2023) in Leitchfield, KY.

She was born on March 20, 1955 in Butler Co, KY, the daughter of the late Clarence and Gracie Hunt Stewart.

She was a retired cook at the Caneyville Grade School, who enjoyed crocheting and reading.

She is survived by her husband of 50 years, Ronnie Embry, one son, Chris R Embry (Melanie) of Beaver Dam, KY, three brothers, Rebus Stewart of Big Clifty, KY, John Stewart of Bee Springs, KY and Bro. Dewey Baker of Caneyville, one sister, Dean Farris of Caneyville . Several nieces and nephews also survive.

Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Donna Hayes.

Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. Monday, (May 1, 2023) at the Dermitt Funeral Home in Leitchfield. Burial will be in the Layman Memorial Cemetery.

Visitation will be at the Dermitt Funeral Home from 10:00 a.m. Monday until time of services.
