Judy E. Keith, age 77, of Evansville, IN, (formerly of Leitchfield, KY) passed away Tuesday, (October 06, 2026) at her daughter’s home in Evansville.

She was born on January 17, 1949 in Erie, PA, the daughter of the late George L. Sr. and Elizabeth “Betty” Panghorn Bailey.

She was teacher’s aide and a CNA who enjoyed beading, word search puzzles, singing country songs, fishing and mushroom hunting. Judy was a member of the Stones View United Methodist Church.

She is survived by her children, Louisa Bish Faw, Marjorie “Margie” Bish and Phillip Keith and his wife, Betty Harvey Keith; three stepdaughters and their families, Phyliss, Colleen & MaryAnn. She is also survived by her granddaughter, Amber Schmitt (Adam); five great-grandchildren, Clark, Mason, Aubree, Ryland and Elijah; her sister, Donna Eskins (Sid); her brother, George Bailey Jr. (Becky) and many nieces, nephews, beloved cousins, extended family members, and her beloved dog BoBo.

Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, John E. Keith; and her older sister, Nancy Bailey Bish.

Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. Monday, (October 12, 2026) at the Dermitt Funeral Home in Leitchfield. Bro. Billy Compton will be officiating. Burial will be in the Deweese Cemetery.

Visitation will be at the Dermitt Funeral Home from 10:00 a.m. Monday until time of services.
