Obituary
Karen Burden, age 55, of West Point, KY, passed away Friday, (December 27, 2013) at the University of Louisville Hospital in Louisville, KY.
She was born on August 7, 1958 in Clarkson, KY, the daughter of the late Ronald and Joann Carter.
She was a homemaker and enjoyed cooking, cleaning, watching science fiction movies and spending time with her grandchildren.
She is survived by her son; Michael Hoskins of Leitchfield, KY, four grandchildren, one sister; Darlene Wolkow (David) of West Point, KY, two brothers; Bobby and David Carter both of Leitchfield, and several nieces and nephews.
Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Keith Carter.
Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, (December 31, 2013) at the Dermitt Funeral Home in Leitchfield. Burial will be in the Mt. Holly Cemetery, in Fairdale, KY.
Visitation will be at the Dermitt Funeral Home from 10:00 a.m. Tuesday until time of services.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to assist with final expenses.
