Karen Marie Hardin, age 62, of Leitchfield, KY, passed away Friday, (December 5, 2025) at Springview Nursing and Rehab in Leitchfield, KY.

She was born on August 16, 1963, in Louisville, KY, the daughter of the late Hershell and Shirley Jewell Stinnett.

Karen was a former restaurant owner, former manager at Mr. Gattis, and had worked in the kitchen at the hospital and Grayson Manor. She loved to work puzzles, watch the KY Derby, and watch The Price Is Right on television. She was an excellent cook. She loved to spend her time reading her Bible. She was a member of the Sunshine Homemakers Club and was a member of the Unity Pentecostal Church.

Karen is survived by her son, Nathaniel Hardin; granddaughter, Ellie Hardin, and step-grandson, Zaden Davis; brother, Terry Stinnett (Regina); sisters, Sandra White (Darrell) and Patricia Montgomery; several nieces and nephews; and a special friend, Bud Montgomery.

Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by her sisters, Phyllis Beers and Starlynn Hodge.

Funeral services will be at 12:00 p.m. Friday, (December 12, 2025) at the Dermitt Funeral Home in Leitchfield. Bro. Keith Shephard will be officiating. Burial will be in the Lile Cemetery.

Visitation will be at the Dermitt Funeral Home from 11:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Thursday and from 9:00 a.m. Friday until time of services.
