Obituary
Katharine R. Fentress, age 95, of Louisville, KY, formerly of Leitchfield, KY, passed away Wednesday, (March 11, 2009) in Louisville, KY.
She was born on July 16, 1913, in Grayson County KY, the daughter of W. P. and Lula Purcell Robinson. She was retired from Bel Cheese USA, a graduate of Short Creek High School and was a 62 year member of the Leitchfield United Methodist Church.
She is survived by her son, Malcolm Fentress and his wife, Marian of Louisville, two brothers, Kenny and Frank Robinson both of Louisville, one sister, Betty Sue Martin of Utica, KY, three grandchildren, Kathy Fentress Williams, Kim Hart and Kelly Fentress and eight great grandchildren, Betsy, Ethan and Logan Williams, Zachary, Kaitlin and Morgan Hart and Jake and Ashton Fentress. She was preceded in death by her husband, Pete Fentress, two brothers, Charlie and Billy Robinson and four sisters, Alta Mae Burden, Ruth Bland, Dale Waterbury and Mary Nell Robinson.
Funeral services will be Monday at 11:00 a.m. (March 16, 2009) at the Dermitt Funeral Home in Leitchfield. Bro. Fred Whitmore will be officiating. Burial will be in the Leitchfield Memory Gardens.
Friends may call at the Dermitt Funeral Home in Leitchfield from 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Sunday and from 9:00 a.m. Monday until time of services.
