Kathleen Mildred Faulkner, age 88, of Louisville, KY, passed away Monday, (November 14, 2011) in Louisville, KY.

She was born on July 4, 1923, in Breckinridge County, KY, the daughter of the late Leslie Oscar and Shellie Hudson Paul. She was a homemaker, and a member of the Mt. Zion Full Gospel Church in Louisville, KY. .

She is survived by two sons, Larry Logsdon (Margaret) of North Carolina, and Robert Logsdon (Vikki) of Lee, MA; one step-son, George Faulkner of Jellico, TN; three daughters, Jean Dietz and Connie Kersey both of Cleveland, TN, and Bonita Edenfield (Michael) of Louisville, KY; two step-daughters, Dora Kay Vance of Cynthiana, KY, and Nancy Popejoy of Peru, IN; one brother, L.O. Paul, Jr. of Hudson, KY; one sister, Deloris Smith of Irvington, KY; and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Elijah Faulkner, one brother, Guthrie T. Paul, two sisters, Lennie Mercer and Hazel L. Woodson, and two great-grandchildren, Christopher Fountain, and Brett Brown.

Funeral services will be at 10:00 a.m. CST Thursday (November 17, 2011) at the Dermitt Funeral Home in Leitchfield. Bro. Jeffery Smith will be officiating. Burial will be in the Hudson Cemetery.

Friends may call at the Dermitt Funeral Home in Leitchfield from 11:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. Wednesday and from 9:00 a.m. Thursday until time of service.
