Kathy Cann, age 73, of Leitchfield, KY, passed away Saturday, (December 9, 2023) at Owensboro Health Twin Lakes in Leitchfield, KY.

She was born on December 6, 1950 in Leitchfield the daughter of the late Charlie and Nancie Decker Scott.

She was a former quality inspector at Leitchfield Plastic for 27 years and a stock clerk at Walmart for 14 years. Kathy enjoyed sewing, travelling and being with her family, especially her grandson, Lucas.

She is survived by her daughter, Christie Lee Cann of Louisville; a son, Charles Edward "Eddie" Cann of Snap; one grandson, Hayden Lucas Cann; brother, Hobert Scott (Pat) of Leitchfield; sister, Rose Watson of Louisville; sister-in-law, Sue Scott of Leitchfield; and a special friend, Cuba Watson and her children. Several nieces and nephews also survive.

Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 48 years, Walter Lee Cann; two brothers, Hershel and Harry Scott; and one sister, Anna Jane Kerr.

In keeping with her wishes cremation was chosen.
