Kenny E. Blair, 57, of, Shrewsbury, KY, passed away Sunday, August 7, 2011) at the Hosparus Inpatient Care in Louisville, KY.
He was born on February 28, 1954, in, Louisville, KY the son of Kenneth Wayne and Geraldine (Mahurin) Blair. He was a truck driver for IMI Concrete and was a member of the Beech Grove United Baptist Church.
He is survived by his wife Loretta Lay Blair, a son, Jacob Blair of Shrewsbury, 3 daughters, Jennifer (Corey) Stevenson, Dana (Nick) Finn, Kayla Blair all of Shrewsbury, a sister Cathy Blair of Louisville, 2 grandchildren, Jesse Stevenson and Noah Finn , his Aunt, Nadine Etter of Louisville, and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father and mother, Kenneth and Geraldine and his step-father, Leon Albro.
Funeral services will be at 1:00 p.m. Thursday (August 11, 2011) at the Dermitt Funeral Home in Leitchfield. Bro. Steve Mahurin will be officiating. Burial will be in the Sanders Cemetery.
Friends may call at the Dermitt Funeral Home in Leitchfield from 11:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. Wednesday and from 9:00 a.m. Thursday until time of services.
