Obituary
Kenny Dale Carter, age 56, of Leitchfield, KY, passed away Tuesday, (May 24, 2016) at his residence in Leitchfield.
He was born on August 28, 1959, in Grayson County, KY, the son of the late Foster and Callie Green Carter.
He was a truck driver and a member of the American Legion.
He is survived by a son, Mitchell Dale Carter of Falls of Rough; a daughter, Jasmine Massey; four grandchildren; two brothers, Randy Carter (Nancy) of Millwood, and Jerry Carter (Ann) of Leitchfield, four sisters, Carolyn Goodley (Gary) of Millwood, Janet Lampton (Pete) of Elizabethtown, KY, Patsy Kramer (Roy) of Louisville, KY, and Candy England (Charlie) of Falls of Rough. Several nieces and nephews and a close friend, Billy Downs of Blowtown, also survive.
Other than his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Sherry Carter.
Cremation was chosen and a Memorial Service will be held at American Legion Post 81 in Leitchfield from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday (May 31, 2016)
Expressions of sympathy can be made to Dermitt Funeral Home to assist with funeral expenses.
