James Kenny Mahurin, age 58, of Falls of Rough, KY, passed away Thursday (May 03, 2007) at his residence.

He was a retired general foreman for National Southwire Aluminum and treasurer of the Mahurin Cemetery. He was born on October 29, 1948 in Grayson County, KY, the son of Jesse Lee & Flora Dee Cummings Mahurin.

He is survived by 1 son Travis (Renee) Mahurin of Falls of Rough, 2 brothers Elliot Ray (Barbara) & Eddie (Sue) Mahurin both of Falls of Rough, 3 grandchildren Dylan, Logan & Coltan Mahurin. He was preceded in death by his parents, 1 brother Milbert Lee Mahurin & his wife, Brenda.

Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. Sunday (May 06, 2007) at the Dermitt Funeral Home in Caneyville with Dr. Charles Owen officiating with interment in the Mahurin Cemetery.

Visitation will be at the Dermitt Funeral Home in Caneyville from 1:00 P.M.-9:00 P.M. Saturday.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Mahurin Cemetery Fund.
