Kimmey Joe Stevenson, age 65, of Louisville, KY, passed away Sunday, September 24, 2023.

He was born in Louisville, KY on January 24, 1958 the son of the late Raymond R and Mary Bernice McLauren Stevenson.

He was a house painter working with his father and brother, Danny. He was a kind man who loved to fish, and write poetry.

He is survived by his son, Jesse Stevenson (Bethany) of Jeffersonville, IN; granddaughter, Brookline Stevenson; sisters, Rita Winters of Georgia and RoJeanna Pank  (Paul) of Indiana; and brothers, Jerry Stevenson of California and Danny Stevenson of Louisville.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. (CST) Friday, (September 29, 2023) at the Dermitt Funeral Home in Leitchfield. Bro. Damon Lasley, Jr. will be officiating. Burial will be in the Antioch Church Cemetery.

Visitation will be at the Dermitt Funeral Home from 10:00 a.m. on Friday until time of services.
