Rev. Larry W. Kopp, age 63, of Clarkson KY, passed away Friday, (May 15, 2009) at his residence.

He was born on June 6, 1945, in New Albany, IN, the son of the late Bill and Laverne Davis Kopp. He was retired from Goldenrod Milk Company and was a member of the Sulphur Wells Missionary Baptist Church.

He is survived by his wife, Carol Williams Kopp, his son, Larry (YeVette) Kopp of Caneyville, his daughter, Lana Lucas (Ben Brown) of Hopkinsville, KY, his sister, Barbara Woller of Clarksville, IN, his brother, Paul Kopp of Clarkson, his grandchildren, Brandon DeWitt, Chasity Lucas, Haleigh and Logan Kopp and his great grandchildren, Joshua and Natalie DeWitt.

Funeral services will be Tuesday at 11:00 a.m. (May 19, 2009) at the Sulphur Wells Missionary Baptist Church in Clarkson. Bro. Vurles Logsdon will be officiating. Burial will be in the Williams Cemetery.

Visitation will be at the Dermitt Funeral Home in Leitchfield from 2:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Sunday, from 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. Monday and at the Church from 9:00 a.m. Tuesday until time of services.
