Lenora "Lynn" Vincent Evans, age 74, of Leitchfield, KY, passed away Wednesday, (December 22, 2010) at the Springview Nursing and Rehab in Leitchfield, KY.

She was born on October 20, 1936, in Edmonson Co., KY, the daughter of the late Daniel and Doris Vincent. She was a housewife and a visitation attendant at Dermitt Funeral Home, a member of the Queen Esther Eastern Star in Shively, KY and the Greenwood United Baptist Church in Louisville KY.

She is survived by her husband, Clayton Evans, two sons, Michael (Jeannie) and Christian Evans both of Louisville, a grandson, Corey Evans and a great grandson, Jaxon Evans, two sisters, Kathern Etherton of Shepherdsville KY and Elizabeth Ashley of Brownsville, KY. Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Charles and Coy Vincent.

Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday (December 28, 2010) at the Dermitt Funeral Home in Leitchfield. Bro. Tommy Jackson will be officiating. Burial will be in the Layman Memorial Cemetery.

Friends may call at the Dermitt Funeral Home in Leitchfield from 4:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Monday and from 9:00 a.m. Tuesday until time of services.
