Bro. Leo Jackson Bratcher, age 61, of Caneyville, KY, passed away Wednesday (February 14, 2007) at the Twin Lakes Regional Medical Center in Leitchfield, KY.
He was a vinyl siding installer and the pastor and member of the Caneyville Outreach of Jesus Christ. He was born on November 6, 1945 in Grayson County, KY, the son of James and Zora Shepherd Bratcher.
He is survived by his wife, Mary Frances Dockery Bratcher, two sons, Johnny Bratcher (Evelyn) of Millwood, KY and Jeffrey Bratcher of Caneyville, one daughter, Anita Lewis (Garrill) of Caneyville, three brothers, Tab of Caneyville, Billy of Yeaman, KY and Virgil Bratcher of Morgantown, KY, four sisters, Artis King and Judy Ford both of Indiana, Frances Tarrence of Falls of Rough, KY and Emiline Wingfield of Brownsville, KY, two grandchildren, Kaylyn and Macy Bratcher, a special niece, Raven Shelton He was preceded in death five brothers and sisters, Jessie, Walter and Paul Bratcher, Magiline Sowders and Bonnie Whitely.
Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. Saturday (February 17, 2007) at the Caneyville Outreach of Jesus Christ in Caneyville under the direction of the Dermitt Funeral Home in Caneyville. Bro. Jimmy Dockery will be officiating. Burial is in the Zion Harmony Cemetery.
Friends may call at the Dermitt Funeral Home in Caneyville from 1:00 to 9:00 p.m. Friday and at the church from 10:00 a.m. until time of service Saturday.
