Obituary
Leonard V. Beasley, age 91, of Leitchfield, KY, passed away Wednesday, (July 9, 2008) at the Twin Lakes Regional Medical Center in Leitchfield.
He was born on November 13, 1916, in Butler County KY, the son of Robert R. and Louisa Swift Beasley. He was a retired car repairman for the IC Railroad.
He is survived by several nieces and nephews, including Sue and Boyd Brooks, his caregivers. He was preceded in death by four brothers, Cuba, Cicero, Martin and Delmar Beasley and four sisters, Fannie Swift, Mandy Raymer, Macie and Lillie Hayes.
Funeral services will be at 1:00 p.m. Saturday (July 12, 2008) at the Dermitt Funeral Home in Leitchfield. Burial will be in the Rabbit Flat Cemetery.
Friends may call at the Dermitt Funeral Home in Leitchfield from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. Thursday, from 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. Friday and from 9:00 a.m. Saturday until time of services.
