Leonard E. House , age 79, of Caneyville, KY, passed away Tuesday (October 26, 2010) at Twin Lakes Regional Medical Center.

He was born on April 21,1931 the son of Charles F. & Hettie Embry House. He was a retired mechanic for Major's Truck Line, a US Army veteran, and a moderator & member of the Caney Creek United Baptist Church.

He is survived by his wife Mary Edith House of Caneyville, 1 daughter Sherry Dolen of Caneyville, 3 grandchildren Michael & Perry Cook & Amy Dolen all of Caneyville, 2 great grandchildren Damien & Brooklyn Cook both of Caneyville. He was preceded in death by his brothers Fred, James, Guy T, Gordy, & Floyd.

Funeral services will be at 2:00 PM Thursday (October 28, 2010)
at the Caney Creek United Baptist Church with Bro. Denzel Bullock & Bro. Edward Dermitt officiating with interment in the Caney Creek Cemetery.

Visitation will be at the Dermitt Funeral Home in Caneyville from 4:00-9:00 P.M. Wednesday and after 9 AM Thursday.
