Leonard Lee Mattingly, age 63, of Hudson, KY, passed away Saturday, (September 18, 2021) at his home.

He was born on August 4, 1958 in Louisville, KY, the son of the Leonard Mattingly and the late Alma Doris Meredith Mattingly.

He was a service technician for John E. Foster and Son and an outdoorsman who enjoyed fishing, hunting, noodling and collecting arrowheads. He was a member of the Baptist faith.

He is survived by his son, Leonard Junior Mattingly (Jamie) and a step-son, Eugene Edlin, both of Elizabethtown; two grandchildren, Austin and Dalton Lee; two step-grandchildren, Paul and Travis Edlin; five sisters, Linda Miller (Kenny) of Munfordville, KY, Cathy Maulden of Magnolia, KY, Janice Tuttle, Barbara Crewz (Robert) and Bobbie Hood (Robbie) all of Leitchfield; and his father, Leonard Mattingly, also of Leitchfield. His beloved poodle, Ziggy, and many nieces and nephews also survive.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Alma Doris Mattingly and a significant other, Bonetta Hodge.

A graveside service will be held at 3:00 pm on Thursday (September 23, 2021) at the Eveleigh Cemetery. Bro. Herlie Joe Blanton will be officiating.
