Lester Lee Lashley, age 64, of Caneyville, KY passed away Friday, (February 23, 2007) at the Twin Lakes Regional Medical Center.
He was born on July 1, 1942, in Leitchfield, KY., the son of Ralph and Margie Key Lashley. He was a self-employed mechanic.
He is survived by four sons, Billy Lashley (Lauretta) of Caneyville, Tom Lashley of Clarkson, Joe and Lester Lashley Jr., both of Leitchfield, KY., two daughters, Kathy King (Paul) of NC., Tracy Garcia (Arturo) of Leitchfield, KY., a special friend, Brenda Zachary of Leitchfield, one brother, Earl Kenneth Lashley of Louisville, three sisters, Reva Norris (Billy) of Park City, Rosie Thompson (Jimmy) of Leitchfield and Rena Teal (Charlie) of Clarkson, eight grandchildren, Megan, Tiffany, Wallace, Felicia, Cody, Jody, Laura and Colton, two great grandchildren, Shahaley and Cadence. Also surviving is three aunts and one uncle.
Proceeded in death by his parents, one brother James Lashley and one grandson, Steven Tyler Gassoway.
Funeral services will be held Monday at 1:00 p.m. (February 26, 2007) at the Dermitt Funeral Home in Leitchfield with Bro. Chester Shartzer officiating. Burial will follow at the South Union Cemetery.
