Lethel "Angel" Louise Goldsberry, age 56, of Leitchfield, KY, passed away Thursday, (September 7, 2023) at Grayson Nursing and Rehabilitation in Leitchfield, KY.

She was born on June 25, 1967 in Grayson County, KY, the daughter of the late Alfred Lee Goldsberry Sr. and Alberta Marie Morton Goldsberry.

Angel was a giver, someone who always put others before herself, a faithful Christian who enjoyed cooking, being outdoors and playing UNO. She was a wonderful Mamaw to her granddaughter, Aryiah, and two granddogs, Nala and Rocky and was a member of the Christ Temple Apostolic church.

She is survived by her son, Desmond Goldsberry (Bobbie) of Leitchfield; daughter, Desiree White (Dakota) of Caneyville; granddaughter, Aryiah White; brothers, Alfred Lee Goldsberry Jr. of Leitchfield and Tommie Goldsberry of Springfield, MO; sisters, Alfreda and Mary Goldsberry both of Leitchfield and Sarah "Anita" Campbell of Nashville, TN. Several nieces and nephews also survive.

Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Clint Richard Drummond.

Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, (September 13, 2023) at the Dermitt Funeral Home in Leitchfield. Elder Ronnie Covington will be officiating. Burial will be in the Layman Memorial Gardens.

Visitation will be at the Christ Temple Apostolic Church (503 S. English St. Leitchfield, KY 42754) from 11:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday and at the Dermitt Funeral Home on Wednesday from 9:00 a.m. until time of services.

Expressions of sympathy may take the form of donations to the Dermitt Funeral Home to assist with final expenses.
