Lillian Cook, age 81, of Naples, Florida, passed away August 2, 2011 at Hospice of Naples surrounded by her family.
She was born January 2, 1930, in Brownsville, Kentucky the daughter of Sam and Stella (Houchin) Clark. She was the youngest of two sisters and five brothers. The family grew up and lived in Grayson County. She and her late husband, Robert Cook, for many years had a summer home just outside Leitchfield on the same property where she lived as a little girl. She loved Kentucky and was proud of her roots.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Robert, a son, Michael Cook, her brothers, Stewart, Paul, Hubert Mac, and John Clark and a sister, Connie Bergan.
She is survived by a daughter, Brenda Tucker of Naples FL, a sister, Bonnie Weeks of Naples FL, a brother, Wes Clark of Wichita, KS, two grandchildren, Adam and Jason Raleigh and four great grandchildren, Alyssa, Jacob, John, and Samantha Raleigh.
Services will be 2:00 p.m. Saturday, August 6, 2011 at the Dermitt Funeral Home in Leitchfield with burial in the Beech Grove Cemetery near Caneyville.
