Obituary
Lillian Bernice Whittle, age 82, of Leitchfield, KY, passed away Saturday, (December 26, 2015) at the Bowling Green Medical Center in Bowling Green, KY.
She was born on February 25, 1933 in Barren Co., KY, the daughter of the late Charlie and Anna Pearl Kingrey Emerson.
She was a housewife and a former member of The Gospel Harmonettes.
She is survived by her husband, Orvil Whittle, of Leitchfield; two daughters, Diana Sheehan of Bee Spring, and Sherry Smith (John) of Murfreesboro, TN; four grandchildren; Brian Pence, Angie Pence, and Nicole Trowbridge all of Louisville and Stephen Smith of Murfreesboro TN; three great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild; a sister Loretta Beckner (Cliff), of Indiana.
Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by her son Stephen Whittle, a grandson Brandon Whittle.
Funeral services will be at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, (December 30, 2015) at the Dermitt Funeral Home in Leitchfield. Bro. Buddy Brooks will be officiating. Burial will be in the Rocky Hill Cemetery.
Visitation will be at the Dermitt Funeral Home from 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday and from 9:00 a.m. Wednesday until time of services.
