Obituary
Lillie Mae Miller, age 83, of Leitchfield, KY, passed away Wednesday, (December 9, 2009) in Louisville, KY.
She was born on July 4, 1926, in Grayson Co., KY, the daughter of Mitchell Bertram and Alsia Rose Mattingly Kiper. She was a homemaker and a former school teacher in the Grayson County School System and a member of Hanging Rock Baptist Church.
She is survived by one son, Donald Miller (Sheila) of Leitchfield, two daughters, Rowena Bolin (Darrell) of Louisville, and Virginia Durrum (Joseph) of Lexington, KY, three grandchildren, Shannon Payne, Brittany and Stephanie Durrum, one great-grandchild, Alyssa Payne, two sisters, Rebecca McClary (Hayden) of Midvale, ID and Faye Spencer (Frazier) of Anderson, IN, a sister-in-law, Virginia Kiper and several nieces and nephews. Other that her parents, she was preceded in death by husband, William Stanley Miller, one brother, Doren Kiper and two sisters, Gracie Kiper and Ruadelle Marsh.
Funeral services will be Friday at 11:00 a.m. (December 11, 2009) at the Dermitt Funeral Home in Leitchfield. Bro Chester Shartzer and Bro. Jim McIntosh will be officiating. Burial will be in the Mt. Vernon Cemetery.
Friends may call at the Dermitt Funeral Home in Leitchfield from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Thursday and from 9:00 a.m. Friday until time of service.
