Linda Kaye Duke, age 55, of Caneyville, KY, passed away Saturday, (October 22, 2016) at the Twin Lakes Regional Medical Center in Leitchfield.

She was born on March 10, 1961 in Otisco, Indiana, the daughter of the late Lloyd Omar and Betty Jean Moore Early.

She was a homemaker, who enjoyed making crafts, including pottery, hair braids, and jewelry. She loved spending time with her family.

She is survived by her husband, Ricky Duke of Caneyville; three daughters, Melvia Roarx of Caneyville, Angela Duke of Glasgow, and Becky Duke of Caneyville; step-daughter, Nicha Stewert of Horse Branch; ten grandchildren, Brandon Gillespie, Jr., Todd, Jason, Sandy, Hailey, Bella, Tasha, Erica, Sean, and Lexie Gillespie; step-granddaughter, Ariana Stewert; one great-grandchild, McCoy Montgomery; sister, Diana Payne of Missouri; two brothers, Ronnie Hooker of Louisville, and David Smith of Michigan; special friend, Deann Scannell; and nieces and nephews, Jerri and Jeremy Potts, Tangie and Samantha Williams, Ronnie and Brittany Hooker, Taylor and Cierra Clark.

Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by two sisters, Pamela Summitt, and Connie Grundy, and two angel grandchildren in Heaven.

Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, (October 27, 2016) at the Dermitt Funeral Home in Leitchfield. Bro. Jeremy Atwood will be officiating. Burial will be in the Brown Cemetery.

Visitation will be at the Dermitt Funeral Home from 10:00 a.m. on Thursday until time of services.
