Obituary

Lisa Ann Lacefield, age 62, of Caneyville, KY, passed away Monday, (July 20, 2026) at Owensboro Health Twin Lakes in Leitchfield, KY.

She was born on June 17, 1964, in Louisville, KY, the daughter of the late Earl and Mary Jo Embry Corley.

She has worked at Plasticon Industries, now known as ABC Technologies Holding Inc. She received her associate’s degree in accounting. She married her late husband, Ricky Lee Lacefield on September 6, 1985, and together they raised four sons, and were preceded in death by an infant daughter, Cassidy. Lisa was an exceptional wife, mother, and Mimi who loved her family dearly. She would take in anybody who needed love and care. Her heart was totally with her family and the love she gave them was amazing. It was demonstrated by her actions in her loving home to each family member, especially her grandchildren. She was a member of Free Union Independent General Baptist Church.

She is survived by her sons, Travis, Levi (Abby), Logan (Samantha) and Brandon Lacefield; six grandchildren, Jackson, Wren, Thomas, Memphis, Arthur, and Eleanor; three brothers, Carl, Billy (Candy), and Cory (Misty) Shadburn; and several nieces and nephews.

Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Ricky Lee Lacefield, and her daughter, Cassidy Jo Ann Lacefield.

Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, (July 25, 2026) at the Dermitt Funeral Home in Leitchfield. Bro. Larry Lacefield will be officiating.

Visitation will be at the Dermitt Funeral Home from 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Friday and from 9:00 a.m. Saturday until time of services.

Cremation was chosen and will be under the direction of the Dermitt Funeral Home after funeral services are held.

Expressions of sympathy may take the form of donations to the Dermitt Funeral Home to assist with final expenses.
