Obituary
Lisa G. Popplewell, age 46, of Leitchfield, KY, passed away Saturday, (July 16, 2011) in Louisville, KY.
She was born on April 2, 1965, in, Grayson County, KY, the daughter of James Stanley and Luella Jaggers Cook.
She is survived by one daughter, Mollye Gail Popplewell of Webster, KY; one son, Corey James Popplewell of Leitchfield; her mother, Luella Jaggers Cook of Leitchfield; one sister, Frances Baxter of Clarkson; two brothers, Lowell Thomas Cook (Susan), and Donald Patrick Cook (Janet), all of Leitchfield; and several nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her husband, James Oliver Popplewell; her father, James Stanley Cook; and her brother-in-law, Danny Baxter.
Funeral services will be at 1:00 p.m. Tuesday (July 19, 2011) at the Dermitt Funeral Home in Leitchfield. Bro. Donnie Lewis will be officiating. Burial will be in the St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery.
Friends may call at the Dermitt Funeral Home in Leitchfield from 11:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. Monday, (July 18, 2011), and from 9:00 a.m. Tuesday until time of services.
