Lois Jean Dixon, age 84, of Leitchfield, KY, passed away Friday, (April 11, 2025) at North Healthcare Pavilion under Hosparus Care in Louisville, KY.

She was born on February 19, 1941, in Hart County, KY, the daughter of the late Jack V. and Martha Stagner Dixon.

She was a resident of Beehive Assisted Living in Leitchfield. She enjoyed walking, spending time with her grandchildren, and was always willing to help others.  She had worked in the healthcare industry as a caregiver. She loved picking up people and taking them to church. She faithfully attended The Restoration Place and attended Sunday school at Beehive Assisted Living. She was a member of God's Mission Church.

She is survived by her daughter, Tammy Armes Fleener, and one son-in-law, Harrell Fleener, of Leitchfield; four grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, and brother, Jackie Dixon (Faye) of Cecilia. Several nieces and nephews also survive.

Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Rhonda Kay Armes Gary, sisters, Vera Watts, Mary Hawkins, Lillian Underwood, and Betty Priddy; half-brothers, J.W. Goodwin, Jack V. Dixon, Jr. and George Dixon.

Funeral services will be at 1:00 p.m. Friday, (April 18, 2025) at the Dermitt Funeral Home in Leitchfield. Bro. Keith Underwood and Bro. Trenton Fleener will be officiating. Burial will be in the Sanders Cemetery.

Visitation will be at the Dermitt Funeral Home from 10:00 a.m. on Friday until time of services.
