Obituary
Lois Marie Morgan, age 89, of Falls of Rough, KY, passed away Wednesday, (April 10, 2013) at the Breckinridge Memorial Hospital in Hardinsburg, KY.
She was born on February 26, 1924 in Louisville, KY, the daughter of the late Polie F and Lana Bogard Simmons.
She was a retired bookkeeper. She was a member of the Rough River VFW Ladies Auxiliary post 3852 and attended the Falls of Rough Baptist Church.
She is survived by several cousins and friends.
Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Franklin "Billy" Morgan and a sister, Mildred Cannon.
Cremation was chosen and a memorial service will be at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, (April 16, 2013) at Dermitt Funeral Home in Leitchfield. Rev. Janet Carden will be officiating. Her ashes will be interred in the Leitchfield Memory Gardens.
Visitation will be at the Dermitt Funeral Home from 9:00 a.m. Tuesday until time of services.
