Lola Maxine Edwards Frank, age 83, of Caneyville Kentucky passed away on Friday, (July 17, 2026) at her residence surrounded by her family.
She was born on May 4th,1943, in Grayson County Kentucky, the daughter of the late Marvin Dow & Verble Maxine Renfrow Edwards.
She married the love of her life, Elmer Jackson “Bud” Frank on July 13th, 1957 in Leitchfield Kentucky. In their 43 years of marriage, they were blessed with five daughters. Teresa, Debra, Rebecca, Jacqueline, & Kaylean.
She is survived by three daughters, Rebecca Piercy (Teddy) of Leitchfield, Jacqueline Casey (Barry) of Caneyville & Kaylean Hart (Chris) of Big Clifty; 12 grandchildren, Chrissy McNabb, Stephanie Geary(Andrew), Elizabeth VanMeter (James), Christopher Piercy, Laura Merrick (Reese), Misty, Kayla, Matthew, & Wesley Casey, & Isaac, Elijah, & Gracie Hart, 11 great grandchildren, Christian Jackson (Kelsey), Alyssa & Faith Whitaker, Kamden, Kaden, & Whitley Piercy, Na’Kiya Shoemaker, Ava-Lynn Casey, Kashton & Chandler McPherson; five great-great grandchildren, William, Annalise, & Sutton Jackson and Elijah & Ari’ella Pirtle; two brothers, Elliott Edwards (Mary) of Olaton & Roger “Jerry” Edwards (Sandy) of Leitchfield; and four sisters, Vivian Pannbaker of Bee Springs, Joan Smith, Joyce Madison (Darrell), & Jean Hall (Donald) all of Caneyville. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins & friends.
Maxine loved spending time with her family and enjoyed listening to classic country music and watching The Grand Ole Opry on Saturday nights. She was a member of Free Zion General Baptist Church in Caneyville, Kentucky.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Marvin Dow &Verble Maxine Renfrow Edwards, her husband of 43 years, Elmer Jackson “Bud” Frank. Two daughters, Teresa Maxine McNabb & Debra Ann Bratcher. One grandson, Daniel Jackson Bratcher. One brother Elmer Lloyd Edwards. And three sisters, Ella Mae Brown, Sharion Kaye Burden, & Lora Jane Edwards.
Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. Friday, (July 24, 2026) at the Dermitt Funeral Home in Leitchfield. Bro. Glendon Geary will be officiating. Burial will be in the Frank Embry Cemetery.
Visitation will be at the Dermitt Funeral Home from 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Thursday and from 9:00 a.m. Friday until time of services.
