Obituary
Lowery Y. Edwards, age 67, of Falls of Rough, KY, passed away Friday, (February 5, 2010) at the Twin Lakes Regional Medical Center in Leitchfield, KY.
He was born on April 30, 1942, in Tousey, KY, the son of Cecil and Ruby Young Edwards. He was a retired welder and a member of the Caneyville Baptist Church.
He is survived by his wife, Sue Logsdon Edwards, one son, Dwayne Edwards (Judy) of Leitchfield, one daughter, Deedee Whitely (Darin) of Falls of Rough, KY, his mother, Ruby Young Edwards of Falls of Rough, one brother, Raymond Edwards of Falls of Rough, four grandchildren, Christopher and Trevor Edwards and Drew and Blake Whitely, three step-grandchildren, Toria Logsdon, Derek Jaggers and Josh Pawley, one great-grandchild and five step-great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be Monday at 1:00 p.m. (February 8, 2010) at the Dermitt Funeral Home in Leitchfield. Bro. Paul Childers will be officiating. Burial will be in the Yeaman Cemetery.
Friends may call at the Dermitt Funeral Home in Leitchfield from 4:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Sunday and from 9:00 a.m. Monday until time of service.
