Loyd Thomas Galloway, age 63, of Westview, KY passed away Sunday, (October 20, 2024) in Westview, KY.

He was born on August 30, 1961 in Hardinsburg, KY, the son of the late Marvin Howard and Mary Edith Whitworth Galloway.

He was a line supervisor at Campbell Hausfield who enjoyed playing cards, music of all kinds, collecting baseball cards and coins. He often made little trinkets, baskets, and jewelry out of peach seeds for his family and friends. A lover of sports, he enjoyed basketball, golf, football and was an avid U of L fan. Loyd attended Goshen Baptist Church.

He is survived by his loving wife of 25 years, Michele Elmore Galloway of Westview; his son, Mason Galloway of Westview; brothers, Milton Galloway (Charlotte), Dale Galloway (Shelia) both of Westview, and Wayne Galloway (Denise) of McDaniels. Several nieces and nephews, great- nieces, great nephews and a host of friends also survive.

Other than his parents, he was preceded in death by his nephew, Stevie Galloway and his father-in-law, J.D Elmore.

Funeral services will be at 1:00 p.m. Monday, (October 28, 2024) at the Antioch General Baptist Church. Bro. Gary Embry and Bro. Woody Moore will be officiating. Burial will be in the Antioch General Baptist Church Cemetery.

Visitation will be at the Dermitt Funeral Home from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. on Sunday and from 9:00 a.m. Monday at the Dermitt Funeral Home until 12:30 p.m. at which time we will move to the church for services.
