Obituary
Loyd Mode Jr., age 74, of Morgantown, KY, passed away Wednesday, (September 28, 2011) in Morgantown.
He was born on June 25, 1937, in Scottsburg, IN, the son of the late Loyd W and Grace Sullivan Mode Sr. He was a retired truck driver and a member of the Wilson Home Baptist Church.
He is survived by his wife, Stella Brooks Mode of Morgantown, four sons, Harold, Steve, Charles and Jerry, three daughters, Betty, Marg and Sue and several grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. Saturday (October 1, 2011) at the Dermitt Funeral Home in Caneyville. Bro. Dewey Baker will be officiating. Burial will be in the Wilson Home Cemetery.
Friends may call at the Dermitt Funeral Home in Caneyville from 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Friday and from 9:00 a.m. Saturday until time of service.
