Obituary
Loyd J. Stewart, age 82, of Leitchfield, KY, passed away Thursday, (November 10, 2016) at the Grayson Manor Nursing Home in Leitchfield.
He was born on January 10, 1934 in Millwood, KY, the son of the late Jack and Edna Katherine Kelly Stewart.
He was a grounds keeper, who loved his truck, enjoyed riding motorcycles and liked to fish and play guitar.
He is survived by a son, Danny Stewart (Melissa) of Washington; three daughters, Mary Lindsey (Roger), Kim Cooper (Perry) and Sandy England (Dwight) all of Leitchfield; 11 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren and twin great-grandchildren on the way; two sisters, Thelma Harriman (Roy) of Irvington, IL and Lottie Jones (Arvil) of Louisville, KY; and a brother, Wayne Stewart (Joyce) of Millwood, KY.
Other than his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Francis Allbee Stewart and his sister Ann Williams.
Funeral services will be at 1:00 p.m. Monday, (November 14, 2016) at the Dermitt Funeral Home in Leitchfield. Burial will be in the Layman Memorial Cemetery.
Visitation will be at the Dermitt Funeral Home from 10:00 a.m. Monday until time of services.
