Lu Ann Braden Sharp, age 67, of Millerstown, was called home to be with our heavenly father on Sunday, August 11, 2024.

She was born on October 29, 1956, in Louisville, KY, the daughter of the late Albert and Pearl Mattingly Braden.

She was a retired MRI Technologist for Baptist Health Hardin; She was a loving and devoted wife, sister, daughter, niece and friend. Lu Ann loved taking care of her husband, family, and fur babies, as she would call them. She also enjoyed mowing the yard and reading God's Word. A born again Christian, she was a member of the Stephensburg Missionary Baptist Church.

She is survived by her husband, Meade Sharp; one brother, Steven Braden (Melissa); uncle, Allan Abell; cousin, Cindy Chesser (Gary); nephew, Daniel (Kaitlin); special nieces, Maisie; and the entire Sharp family.

Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by her Aunt Delphia Mattingly and Aunt Lucille Abell.

Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, (August 17, 2024) at the Dermitt Funeral Home in Leitchfield. Bro. Ron Blair will be officiating. Burial will be in the Maple Grove Cemetery in Bloomfield, KY.

Visitation will be at the Dermitt Funeral Home from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Friday and from 9:00 a.m. Saturday until time of services.
