Lucille M. Carman , age 73, of Leitchfield, KY, passed away Monday, (September 17, 2018) at her home.

She was born on September 23, 1945 in Fischer KY, the daughter of the late William and Ruby (Darnell) Mercer.

She was a sewing machine operator. She enjoyed playing bingo, spending time with her grandkids and great grandkids, and also watching the food network. She loved to volunteer with the Falls of Rough Volunteer Fire Department.

She is survived by one daughter, Dana Carman of Leitchfield; three grandsons, Michael Carman (Amber), Zakree Montgomery (Michala), both of Leitchfield, and Nikolas Montgomery of Hudson, KY; two brothers, David Mercer (Becky), and John Mercer (Debby) of Leitchfield; one sister, Laura Embry (Archie) of McQuady, KY; three great grandkids, Elizabeth, Abigail, and Chevy Carman; and several nieces and nephews also survive.

Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Sandra Montgomery; one sister, Mary Smith; one brother, George Mercer; one grandson, David Montgomery; and one great grandson, Landon Montgomery.

Funeral services will be at 1:00 p.m. Friday, (September 21, 2018) at the Dermitt Funeral Home in Leitchfield. Bro Jason Mercer will be officiating. Burial will be at the McDaniels Methodist Church Cemetery in McDaniels, KY.

Visitation will be at the Dermitt Funeral Home from 10:00 a.m. until time of service on Friday.
