Obituary
Lucille Johnson Shirrell, age 73, of Clarkson, KY, passed away Sunday, (Sept 5, 2010) at the Twin Lakes Regional Medical Center in Leitchfield, KY.
She was born on Sept 1, 1937, in Grayson Co, KY, the daughter of the late Edward Walter and Lois Hayse Johnson. She was a retired line worker and was a member of the Claggett United Baptist Church.
She is survived by one daughter, Pamela Golladay (Paul) of Florida, five sisters, Augusta Blair of Louisville, Catherine Haynes, Lorene Oller and Opal Skaggs all of Leitchfield, and Marcella Mitchell of Lexington, KY and several nieces and nephews. Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother and sister, Damon Johnson and Juanita Staggs.
Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday (September 8, 2010) at the Dermitt Funeral Home in Leitchfield. Burial will be in the Walnut Hill Cemetery.
Friends may call at the Dermitt Funeral Home in Leitchfield from 10:00 a.m. Wednesday until time of services.
