Lucille Wilson Stanton, age 74, of Clarkson, KY, passed away Sunday, (June 11, 2017) at her daughter's residence in Elizabethtown.

She was born on April 5, 1943 in Grayson County, KY, the daughter of the late Lee and Mamie Hodges Wilson.

She was a home-maker, who enjoyed gardening, cooking, and traveling. She was a member of Broadford Missionary Baptist Church.

She is survived by her daughters, Janice Stanton (Candy Ott) of Elizabethtown, and Dian Huffman (Jurl) of Peonia; one grandchild, Ty Huffman; three sisters, Jo Ann Borges of Hawaii; Rose Trafton of Louisville, and Nell Stewart of Leitchfield; three brothers, Roger and Kelly Wilson both of Leitchfield, and Tommy Wilson of Washington State.

Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, William P. Stanton, and four brothers, Robert, Jay, Douglas, and Floyd Wilson.

Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, (June 15, 2017) at the Broadford Missionary Baptist Church. Bro. Mikie Clemons will be officiating. Burial will be in the Stanton Cemetery.

Visitation will be at the Dermitt Funeral Home from 11:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday and at the funeral home on Thursday from 9:00 a.m. until time of services at the church.
