Luvena Mercer McCombs, age 61, of Leitchfield, KY, passed away Thursday, (June 4, 2020) in Leitchfield.

She was born on January 30, 1959 in Leitchfield, KY, the daughter of the late Wallace and Ima Blair Mercer.

She was a home-maker, who enjoyed growing flowers, gardening, fishing, sewing and mowing. She loved bargain hunting at yard sales, playing cards, scratch off lottery tickets, working crosswords puzzles and word search games.

She is survived by her children, Leonard Mattingly (Jamie) of Elizabethtown, Nikki Goodman (Allen) of Clarkson, Tasha Stewart (Thomas) of Leitchfield and Casuga Olsen of Clarkson; brothers, Ray Mercer of Clarkson and Russell Mercer of Leitchfield; sisters, Alvena Vincent of Leitchfield and Louise Belcher (Jim) of Grundy VA and Linda Baxter of Leitchfield; seven grandchildren, Alex, Rylee, Hunter, Dalton, Austin, Phoebe and Dallas; a special friend, Jerry Vincent and several nieces and nephews.

Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Wavie Mercer, a sister, Lillian Spicer and a brother-in-law, Jimmy Baxter.

Funeral services will be at 2:00 PM Monday, (June 8, 2020) at the Dermitt Funeral Home in Leitchfield. Bro. Jim Belcher will be officiating. Burial will be in the Eveleigh Cemetery.

Visitation will be at the Dermitt Funeral Home from 10:00 AM on Monday until time of services.
