Lynda Faye Dudgeon, age 80, of Caneyville, KY passed away Saturday, (September 14, 2024) at her residence.

She was born on July 25, 1944 in Millwood, KY, the daughter of the late Preston and Reba Lynn Noblett.

Lynda was saved in 1954 at the Pine Knob United Baptist Church where she not only still attended, but was the longest surviving member on the church books.

She is survived by her loving husband of 45 years, James Dudgeon of Caneyville; two sons, Jamison Dudgeon (who was especially close to her heart) of Caneyville, and Kevin Basham; two daughters, Fleshia Mudd of Leitchfield and Kimberly Mudd of Caneyville; 7 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren with whom she loved getting to visit with; two brothers, Robert Noblett of Short Creek and Asa Noblett of Leitchfield; and a sister, Patricia Noblett, also of Short Creek. Several nieces, three nephews, and a very special friend and Caregiver, Pat Bratcher of Caneyville also survive.

Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by one son, Jeffrey Lynn Basham; a granddaughter, Bridgett Renae Payton; one great-grandson, Coby Ray Payton; and one brother, Samuel Noblett.

Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, (September 19, 2024) at the Dermitt Funeral Home in Leitchfield. Bro. Jerry Vincent will be officiating. Burial will be in the Duff Cemetery.

Visitation will be at the Dermitt Funeral Home from 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday and from 9:00 a.m. Thursday until time of services.
