Mabel Campbell Jones, age 76, of Clarkson, KY, passed away Saturday, (June 18, 2016) at the Norton's Hospital in Louisville KY.

She was born on March 5, 1940, in Corbin, KY, the daughter of the late Charles T and Beatrice Clouse Campbell.

She was a retired secretary for the Kentucky Department for the Blind, who enjoyed quilting, crocheting knitting and crafts and was a member of the Sew bee it Quilt Guild and the Mulberry Flats United Baptist Church.

She is survived by one son, Andrew Raymer (Shannon) of Bardstown, KY, two daughters, Kimberly Williams (Jimmie) of Clarkson and Lisa Raymer (Mary) of Bardstown, six grandchildren and one great-grandchild, two sisters, Jeanette Steidle of Louisville and Charlotte Campbell of Clarkson, one brother, Lowell Campbell (Carolyn) of Louisville and several nieces and nephews also survives.

Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by first husband, Willard Raymer Jr., her second husband, Alvin Jones, a sister, Dalphene Gunning.

Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, (June 23, 2016) at the Dermitt Funeral Home in Leitchfield. Bro. Jack Crenshaw will be officiating. Burial will be in the Mulberry Flats Cemetery.

Visitation will be at the Dermitt Funeral Home from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday and from 9:00 a.m. Thursday until time of services.
