Madgleane Cummings, age 80, of Caneyville, KY, passed away Wednesday, (December 29, 2021) at Owensboro Twin Lakes Hospital in Leitchfield, KY.

She was born on June 15, 1941 in Grayson Co, KY, to the late Harlan and Sarah Decker Stinson.

She was a retired housekeeper at Grayson Manor Nursing Home, who enjoyed quilting, sewing, cooking, baking, while giving most of it away and working in her flower garden.

She is survived by her daughter, Tammy Daugherty (Mike) of Caneyville and her son, Brian Cummings of Caneyville, KY four grandchildren, Dustin Cummings, Felicia Clinard, and John and Matthew Daugherty, five great-grandchildren, one sister, Myrtle Mudd of Caneyville. Several nieces and nephews also survive.

Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Pirtle Cummings, and two sisters, Goldia Lemons and Fannie Haynes.

Funeral services will be at 1:00 p.m. Monday, (January 3, 2022) at the Dermitt Funeral Home. Bro. Damon Lasley Jr. will be officiating. Burial will be in the Welches Creek Cemetery.

Visitation will be at the Dermitt Funeral Home from 12:00 noon to 8:00 p.m. on Sunday and from 9:00 a.m. Monday until time of services.
